"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Well pete, I guess I haven't screened then. I have no idea how to when first meeting a girl. I mean, that sort of stuff (the really dark, past secrets) don't come out until I've been with a girl for a while and trust has been established.
on like, a first date... ask about her family.

"we don't talk" "bad history" "a lot of drama" should all be red flags.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

What a rude, disrespectful, insensitive thing to say. You just mocked rape victims who struggle with the trauma of the rape itself, the trauma of having their virginity stolen from them, and the trauma of knowing people will think of them as "damaged goods" for the rest of their lives. Good job.

lighten up.. i found it kinda funny... and he was responding to LMS who obviously said what he said in a sarcastic way... im sure in no way shape or form does he condone rape... people have to stop being so politically correct...

on a side note however, i think that its you who attracts these kind of women... bar chicks tend to have more of those traits then *****es you meet at your local library ;)

Here is an extreme case, just look at Hitler:

"He had a fiancée, Mimi Reiter in the 1920s, and later had a mistress, Eva Braun. He had a close bond with his niece Geli Raubal, which many commentators have claimed was sexual, although there is no evidence that proves this.[66] All three women attempted suicide during their relationship with him"

The only women he could have attracted were as fvcked up as he was, which in retrospect is "you are what you eat". In my AFC's days I used to attract depressed girls with low self esteem so as you can see I attracted my equivalence. I am sure once you get better at being a DJ you will attract better women.

same here DJDamage. I used to only attract fvcked up girls.

Your attraction to the opposite sex is based off of what you think about yourself. It is also true that how you think of yourself is how your women will think about themselves.

whoa whoa. i wasnt mocking rape victims. i was mocking LMS because it was sort of an obvious question.

i think rape is a pitiful thing to do and I know i really harms victims, both physically and mentally. but also just because a girl was raped doesnt mean she had her virginity stolen from her. most girls, or people today for that matter are not virgins

but how would they be viewed as damaged goods anymore than a girl that's had 7 partners be viewed as damaged goods? just because some jackass took it from them doesnt mean they are now damaged.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
