ok, now for a review

you all prolly read my post when i was getting ready for the big first date with a friend...well, i called her 7 or 8 hours before the date to tell her when i was going to pick her up and she told me she couldnt go...now for the question part of my post...

should i ask her out for some other time?

if yes, how long should i wait?

if no, would i be ok to ask one of her friends out in the near future or should i sit back and wait for her next move?

1. What was her excuse? Is it reasonable? If you think she just made something up to ditch you, forget about her.

2. Wait until at least next weekend to ask her to do something again. Even if she asks you to do something this coming weekend, tell her you have other plans and wait until the weekend after. If she cancels on you again, forget about her; she's either not interested or too busy to be dating.

3. I think you can start going after her friends whenever you want. In fact, if you give them more attention then her she will probably become jealous.

1. the excuse was legit...though shes not the type to cancel after making plans...it was real...

Did she bring up another time that would be better for her or did she just flat out tell you she couldn't go? Many times, if a girl is interested, she'll be genuinely disappointed that she is unable to make it and try to set up an outing some other time.

For example, the girl that my AFC friend was dating called me a few nights ago (they broke up, as was predicted in that other post a few threads back) and I tried to set something up for this weekend on pretty short notice. Unfortunately, she'd already been forced to do some housework (she just moved into a new home) and couldn't go. So, she suggested we try next weekend.

This is when it's good to use blienk's #2 suggestion.

she didnt suggesat another time that would be good...but kind of understandable because i sort of let her know when i first asked her out that im busy most weekends so it was a good thing she wasnt busy uesterday...i replied with "maybe we could go out some other time?" to this she replied, "yeah, maybe..."

is she playing games?

current plan of action: im gonna talk to one of her girlfriends tomorrow to see whats going on with her and find out if emily (the canceled date) is interested...if not...i might ask megan (the friend) out for this friday maybe...
