In fact, the boy, now aged nine, was the product of a sperm sample provided by her former boyfriend

But, because of legal precedent, the woman could not be forced to hand back £60,000 in child maintenance which she received as a direct result of her fraud after the couple split up.

Most significantly of all, the man – known only as Mr X in court – now has no right to contact with the boy he spent six years believing was his son.

How is it possible that a woman has legal right to alimony after divorce, and yet this dude who supported a kid that wasn't his for 6 years in a marriage has no legal right to even see the kid now let alone get reimbursed for what was essentially fraud?

Leave the country. But legally if he signed the birth certificate, he certified it was his son so that should make him s guardian and allow him to see the kid regardless of biology right?
