"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hey all, just wanted to know if anybody had some advice. So in the summer i march with a drum and bugle corps and tour the country and all that fun stuff for about 4 months. Well this summer i met this girl who lives in texas, and well i live in pittsburgh. but for these four months we were together every single day like all day practicing and just like everymoment was spent with this girl. like we would fall asleep next to each other, bus rides, all day in rehersals, meal times. non stop and just like the more time i spent with her the more amazing things got! and so yes we were "together" in the summer. but here is the kicker. she has a boyfriend, a boyfriend for like 3 years, and he also marched but he was in a different corps. so to make a already long story as short as possible i have never ever felt that strongly for a person. ever! and now that it is the off season we are apart and she is still with her boyfriend. but i still get phone calls and we talk on aol and she tells me how much she really does think about me and how its probabally more than i think she does. and i get i LOVE you messages from her. and i just dont know what to think. like i would give up anything for this girl and i dont know i just dont want it to be a summer thing i guess. and i dont know i know she still thinks about me, like she sent me a christmas present and stuff. i am just looking for other people opinion. people that i dont know haha.

thanks a bunch!

If she doesn't leave her current boyfriend, and if that's what you want her to do, then there really is no point bothering about her anymore. If you mean as much to her as she clearly states, she'll choose you over her boyfriend in an instant. Whatever reasons to not break up with her boyfriend that she may give you shouldn't be accepted.

Most probably she may give you the reason that she's been with him for so long, that their parents are so comfortable with them being together, that you're living quite a distance from her and that she doesn't want to break his heart just yet. To all these, I say why not she just do it? She has a choice here. To end things with her boyfriend or to continue stringing him along. You've got to decide whether you can accept her and what she's doing now. If you can't then you've got to be brave enough to end things with her if she doesn't.

My two cents....

She's using you to fill holes while BF is not there. Tell her that you want more from her and see what she does. IF she leaves him great your in, if not there are plenty of other woman out there you just choose to see one at the moment.

like i would give up anything for this girl
This is your problem. You shouldn't give anything up for a girl. If you don't have any other options(i.e. girls), go get some and tell her about them. See what she does when you have a GF. I think you'll find your answer then.
