New York - what gives?

Does anyone else feel this way when it comes to Manhattan? It seems as if New York city has the hottest girls on the planet, and almost all of them are unapproachable.

Me and my friends have had little to zero success with women in New York, and when we aren't in NY it seems like woman are just fish in a barrel. There is no romance, and the PDA's you see are usually by older couples who look extremely superficial.

I have lived in multiple cities in the states as well as in foreign countries and I find that there really is "no love in the heart of the city," as Jay-Z would put it.

Any opinionos?

what do you call unapproachable women? usually this is better as it shows more confidence.

You know, ever since I decided to move to manhattan, I was thinking about turning lesbian, not because the women are hot but it seems like every hot guy I see is gay.
