So my friend had been seeing this girl since May. It's been sort of this arrangement that they hang out a couple times per week. He's been pretty good about keeping her on the back burner and not making her a priority.

Well back in late June they get a little more serious and she went out to dinner with his parents and my friend. Steak dinner, good restaurant, and he took her to a baseball game afterwards.

In early July, he starts losing some type of attraction to her and decides to bail, not thinking it's going to work between them. The next weekend, she goes out to the bar...makes out with some random dude while she was drunk.

Literally a week later, my friend changes his mind and decides to call her to hangout again...he just had second thoughts.

Two weeks later, he finds out about her doing this (a mutual friend told him...the girl didn't reveal this to him) and dumps her AGAIN. She is now begging and crying for him to take her back. Long emails, texting, etc. I told him he should not reply to her.

What should my friend do? He's a little pissed that she turned around and kissed a guy that fast and rebounded...but angrier that she never disclosed to him what happened.

If they split, it's technically not cheating. But is this a red flag? Should he bail again?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

So why is this situation important to you? If your friend wants answers, I'm sure he'll ask somebody for opinions. Until that happens, let him do as he wishes.

He did! That's why he asked me. I told him no contact...good move or not?

This whole scenario wreaks of gay behavior....your friend is a chump and either needs to wake the he11 up or let him rot with the rest of the worlds AFCs. Dont get in the habit of sticking your neck out there for friends....if they TRULY want help...they will seek it on their own.

In early July, he starts losing some type of attraction to her and decides to bail, not thinking it's going to work between them.

Bails? Im guessing he texted her saying something along the lines of "its not going to work out". Thats stupid....no need to even send a text. If he didnt want to see her anymore, just dont hang out with her.

makes out with some random dude while she was drunk.

Typical and reasonable response. Surprised she didnt try to fvck the guy.

Literally a week later, my friend changes his mind and decides to call her to hangout again...he just had second thoughts.

Second thoughts aka actually id rather sleep with her than my left hand because I cant get any other women.

Two weeks later, he finds out about her doing this (a mutual friend told him...the girl didn't reveal this to him) and dumps her AGAIN

Dumping a girl that your not exclusive with....interesting things that AFCs can come up with nowadays. Always inventing new "power plays"...although in reality there is no power in them.

but angrier that she never disclosed to him what happened.

Well tell him to get over it. Girls never would reveal their sexual conquests with a guy(their girlfriends he11 ya they love gossip).

What should my friend do?

Your right...its not cheating. Its not a red flag. Your friends like a damn pancake, he keeps flipping. To boil it down....its the only girl thats going to give him sex in the immediate future so he wants her. But hes insecure and gets upset easily so he tries to pull off these manuevers in an attempt to gain power. I think the relationship is never going to work because the girl is always going to see him as this insecure desperate guy. What I would advise is to find some hobbies, career, etc and start owning the sh1t out of life. Meet new people, talk to new women, etc. AND I would text this girl about once a week and try to schedule a meetup. If shes been sleeping with him since May, she obviously found him attractive at one point. They can still meet up and have sex, all the while your friend is improving himself. I would not try to become exclusive with her right off the bat like I bet hes planning. Just roll with it and dont worry about "titles".
