I've reading this forum for a while. I haven't posted before because I really had nothing to say. I can't advise anyone. I'm an AFC but a self-aware one. I know I'm an AFC. I guess that's better than being just an AFC and have no idea about it. However.......

My ex gf broke up with me about 3 months ago. Around the same time, I went into full NC and started taking singing classes with a really nice, beautiful and sweet girl. I saw her around 8-9 times. It was kind of cool, as I was learning to sing (which I was looking forward for a long time), and at the same time this girl was some sort of reminder than there were other beautiful girls out there. But things turned up in the most unexpected way. In the last few days, I switched from thinking all the time about my ex into thinking all the time about my singing teacher!. Yes, I'm an idiot. Anyway, I have no choice now. I have to do something about it.

I'm in a major disadvantage with this girl. First, because she's in a "professional" relationship with me. I don't feel adequate to use that as an excuse to make a move onto her, but it's still an option. Second, I'm into her before even dating her. That's a notorious disadvantage.

So basically, the two MAIN courses of action are:

A) Stop going to her classes. Ask her out.
B) Use the classes as an asset in my favour.

There are many courses of action I can take from now on, but I have to pick one of these to start. If I stop taking her classes - I would have the freedom to ask her out. Making up an excuse would be kind of lame though. I would have to let her know I'm interested right away.

If I go B, I can't ask her out or make an important move - if I get rejected, it would be really awkward afterwards

I really need your advice.

Haha dont feel to bad, Im going through the same thing for the first time right now(usually takes me a lot longer to develop real options). Its the "rebound" effect, you will be super needy and break all the rules in this one.
Thanks for your advice. Yeah, there must be some logic behind this... I was an emotional mess and then all of sudden I start caring about this new girl. I'm not in a strong position but I'd rather play and lose than just keep admiring her silently like a pathetic loser!.
