Most days I can get away with wearing jeans and a polo but when I have meetings I need to wear a suit and tie. I have always had this issue but need to do something about it because my next promotion requires this dress code every day. My neck gets severely irritated after wearing a dress shirt for a few hours. I was looking for suggestions on how to stop this. I wash my face and neck first thing in the morning, before bed and shower once/twice a day depending on activities. I am also not over weight.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Many men weat their dress shirts with a neck measurement a whole size larger or wear shirts with stretch collars at 1/2 size larger for the reason you described. Try a different fabric shirt also and avoid heavy starch.
