My toughest part of this..

Is the opener.
Once I get past that and start talking with the girl things move nicely.
But I still struggle with that intial approach/opener thing. could be at a bar, or it could be at the supermarket. i struggle all the same. most of the girls i meet and get along with, are introduced to me, or friends of friends.

I haven't been able to wrap my head around the 3-second approach idea. or the cold approach.. I dont have any canned openers ready..

Any good posts/thoughts you guys have that you could throw my way?

Stretch your feelings Dman, use the force that binds all DJs.

It must come to you without thinking. To think of it so much is a disease of the mind. It will only tear you down, because over-analysing is about finding faults which works wonders for logical things, but with people - this is all but a difference scenerio.

The things people do are not always logical. To say that "Dam, should've used C&F - that would have got her" etc. You don't know that it would have. You then blame yourself for not using a certain technique. When you start blaming yourself is when you start to sacrafice your self-esteem for others and what they think of you. It creates a snowball of insecurities.

Do your best and keep improving and you will see results know matter what you do.

so thats really the point of the 3 second rule right?
doesnt give you time to over-think anything..

I think my problem is I spend to much time over-thinking things like the 3 second rule. Hah, wow Im clearly new at this.
