"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

She's been waiting forty minutes.

There is this one line in a book about how to write screenplays. It talks about the fact that it's not important what peopel are saying but rather what they are implaying by those words. So when you see two people meeting on the street talking about the weather it's not because theya ctually care about it -- rather they are acknowledgeing that the other person is a friend that they care at list a bit more about then the rest of teh starngers on the street.

Why am i saying that? Don't be afraid of small talk -- it might lead to a deeper conversation where 2 "freinds" become real friends. And...? When you call up a friend that has plans ask about joining up. You got nothing too loose. Call that friend back from HS you didn't speak to ever since. Whatever. You are in charge to make the move. If anything people will feel flatered because you though of them.
