"Blank Mind on Dates? She's Dropping Hints You Keep Missing"

The plates get cleared and the silence lands like a brick. You can feel her waiting. Your brain offers up your commute, your job, the weather — topics that have ended more second dates than bad breath.

Here's what most guys never learn: women hand out free conversational material all night long. Tiny clues about what they actually want to discuss. Catch them and you never run out of things to say — because she's telling you what to say next.

Rule 4 of the "22 Rules" trains your ear to catch every single one.

ok, she tells me that she may have an STD. she's getting it checked tomorrow. i've had unprotected sex with her, but no signs.

what if she has something permanent, and i don't have it? could someone who knows about this please go through the motions, do i need to leave her? or wear a condom until the time we may marry, then get a disease...? etc.

i'm 20, she's 18. scary stuff so young. prob scary whenever, but the stay with her and condom business is scary so young.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Often men do not show signs of an STD. She needs to be honest with you on how she got it also. She can't be your girlfriend if somebody else has been hitting it. That is unless you gave it to HER.

If she is given Flagyl or another form of antibiotic type then its a serious one.

But often women will get minor yeast infections or vaginitis which both can come from wearing cotton and working out.

I would advise you to get checked as well. If you have a STD you need to know about it and treat it. Most STD's are treatable. I work for the State Health Department HIV/Hep section. I know about STD's. Do yourself a favor, and go get checked out. As for protection. you should always use a condom. Its just stupid not to.

Umm, she told you she MAY have an STD? How does she know that? Why does she say that? Does she have lumps or what? Anyone who has EVER had unprotected sex MAY have an STD.

If u fukc a girl with an STD, it doesnt necessarily mean you have it also. I would only use condoms with her until the result of her test. But I HIGHLY DOUBT she has anything.

If she has HIV it cannot be detected with 100% accuracy until she has been infected for 6 months. So if she has had unprotected sex anytime in the last six months with another dude, I would keep using that condom until she waits for the incubation period to end and then get her tested again.

Although dont worry about it too much, wait till u see the results before jumping to conclusions. Let us know how it goes.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Take a deep breath

Okay, as the son of a nurse epidemiologist, I've had this info permanently burned into my brain forever. First, like was said above, go get checked out soon. It's more likely for a male to have symptoms of most STD's than it is for a female, but some guys just don't get symptoms. And I'm sure you'll want to know rather than wonder about it ;)

The most common STD's in America are Chlamydia and Gonnorhea, both of which are cureable with simple antibiotics. Syphilis is all but erradicated in the US, but the (small) risk is still there. Even Syphilis can be treated successfully with no lasting health problems if it's caught relatively soon.

If she gets a positive result, it's almost 100% chance you will be infected as well if were speaking of the two STD's above and you did NOT use a condom.

There are some nasties out there that never go away.....but your chances are far greater that if it's an STD, it's one of the above. Of course, you should always wear a condom until you are in a monogamous relationship.

Good luck, bro. And find out where the F she got that.

What about those STDs that you can still catch, even with a condom on? You know, the ones that spread thru skin contact. More info on that would be appreciate, coz those are the ones that make me paranoid.

ok. turns out it was thrush. which i have no idea about. cureable, just a rash i think.. but really i know nothing..

diseases which spread through contact; pubic lice. i had that. not sure how/where i got it.. but one day after showing i saw this big ass thing like on a pube on my leg, kinda u know? groin area. i thought somoene else in my family must have had it, and it came from the towell..

anyway, few days later i saw another.. and i freaked.. i started trimming my pubs off.. saw heaps more.. i really freaked, felt so dirty..
shaved as much as i could, then trimmed the rest so short it was as good as shaved..
then went through with tweasers picking all these bastards off... swishing them real hard and putting them in the toilet..

theres 3 stages of lice, from what i understand.. egg (sits on the pubic hair half way up, small but can see with ur eye) early days, small and clear sits right down on ur skin at the bottom of a pube sucking ur blood. then grown up lice, crawls around laying eggs they are darker cause they are full of ur blood..

i might be wrong about some of the technical stuff.. but boy o boy, i freaked...

they never came back, and i didn't have to be embarrassed about going to the doctor..

also, make sure u wear clean jocks and use clean towells/sheets for a few weeks after (if not forever!)

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

unprotected sex is a good thing, all that stuff you hear about aids is big bunch of nonsense, there is no such thing according to the tooth fairy that left me some money under my pillow last night. Wait a sec, I have to go now, the Easter Bunny is knocking at my door.

Thrush is not considered an STD and it is not that serious. Thrush is more like a yeast infection.

Thrush is the widely used term for a common fungal infection caused by Candida albicans. Usually this takes the form of trivial vaginal or mouth infections, although it can affect the body more widely and seriously on rare occasions.

Vaginal Thrush
This causes itch and a cheesy discharge. The area is often redder than usual. It is often painful too, especially on intercourse, and may be associated with frequency of passing water and burning or pain on passing water. It may, therefore be confused with bladder infections (cystitis). Thrush, however is usually associated with itching, which cystitis is not.

Causes
The cause is a fungus which is found widely in nature (Candida albicans), and indeed, is frequently present in the mouth and motions of people in good health. It seems that it is at periods when the defence mechanisms are down that it actually causes a problem. This can be when physically or mentally "run down", in women either pregnant or on the oral contraceptive pill, in diabetes and people either on steroids, or whose immune systems are suppressed.

Antibiotics, which deplete the naturally occurring bacteria, which are useful to the body, as well as the invading bacteria which they are being used to treat, may disturb the natural balance of the body and lead to thrush developing.

Thrush is otherwise known as Candidiasis, Moniliasis, or yeast infection.

Treatment

Locally applied creams, pessaries, lozenges or gels, depending on the site affected. The most widely used are the imidazoles although there are other useful preparations. If in doubt consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Systemically administered preparations. These are costly, but very effective, and usually only require a single dose.

if you have any questions Ill be happy to answer them

quest, you don't have to go to the doctor for crabs. Just go to a discrete pharmacy location, preferrably one you'll never go to again with an old person working, and get some Rid. As far as I know it works on crabs too.

Crabs isn't all THAT uncommon. I never had it, but my uncle's had it more than once. In college he even got it from a girl who was a "virgin" LMAO.

Yes, be very careful where you stick that thing. There are girls out there with incurable STDs who simply don't care about spreading the infection to other people. Seriously, a buddy of mine was telling me about a girl he knows. I also read a statistic in my local university newspaper that said 70% of all sexually active female college students have chlamydia.
