"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

What will your kids say 15 years from now. Was mom the only one you knew? What you say will definitely affect there decision in life.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'd stay away. I mean it might be a cool story to tell your friends that you banged a guys girlfriend but the fact she's willing to cheat instead of just dumping him says a lot of things about her character.

I wouldn't stoop to her level mate.

Hypothetical question for the guys who are saying it´s ok to hit on a woman with a bf because they are not married.

If the woman and the guy have a stable LTR, live together, but never "married" because they don´t care for paying to have their names on a piece of paper, is it ok then to hit on her?

I would have to say that the stability and deepness of the relationship would count. A girl and a guy that have gone out for a while, or are in a serious relationship would be downright wrong to cheat with.

On the other hand, if the relationship was old and warn out, or this girl had just dated some guy a few times, then it wouldn't be as bad if you cheated with her, but still probably morally wrong (to some extent).

It is like if a women is not (legally) divorced from a man, but seperated. If you hooked up with this women, that would be okay, as long as if the women and her boyfriend/husband mutually knew and agreed to seeing other people.

This girl is not this guy's possession, he's just her boyfriend. They aren't married, or engaged. There's no real commitment there (as you can see by the way she is acting). If I really wanted this girl I wouldn't let the boyfriend stop me.

You can interpret "another man's possession" however you want. It is like a legal code, you must interpret it to get its meaning, and the actual meaning is not set in stone. (of course, too many people on this message board are probably too stupid to know what that means, since you actually have to know law to know what interpreting a rule means).

But no, you shouldn't cheat with a women with a stable boyfriend husband.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
