"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

this is an oldie but goodie i say,and it's most likely been posted a kazillion times and the oldest trick in the books ,but i'll post it anyways.I was walking around and i mistook a girl for someone i knew...i proceeded to say her name a few times before she turned around and it turned out to be the wrong person..i laughed out loud and she smiled at me.anyways the basic conversation from these chance meetings were-

Stacy?
stacy!
hey wait up!
then sometimes i even look at them and ask ..'are you sure your'e not.." so and so..they usually laugh and be like..are you serious?
then i just proceed to plow on through, and be all like..
this is pretty embarassing, you know what? i know this place around the corner -has awesome food- give me your number..GIVE ME-NOT asking or supplicating..but GIVE IT TO ME.DIRECT. It dosen't matter what you say, just say anything and get the hell out of there! once i get the number , i can change my mind if i want to..it really dosen't even matter if i know any place for that matter, i can think of something LATER. The most important thing is plowing on through, getting the number and getting the hell out of there! before she even realizes what hit her :D i don't even ask for a name sometimes..i can just get that later

how to deal with objections? humorsly..i used to do everything from apologize to freaking out , to saying nothing and walking away..all those times it kinda stuck a cord in me and i felt bad afterwards..now if i just laugh at it or make it humorous somehow, i feel better and i find someone else i don't know..or do know..whatever..the thing is , once i realized that if it dosen't matter..because i am never gonna see them again if it dosen't work out-who cares?i have nothing to loose,i may get my 'feewings hert' ,but who cares?! i'd rather have my feelings hurt and feel bad for a while then have to feel really bad when it's 2am and i alone, horny and need some lovin'!I once had an accumilation of 50 numbers in about a weeks time and i only called about 5 of them anyways..i still collect numbers and i still go out and get them:up: this trick has gotten me a ton of numbers and is still my 'defualt' routine when i am too lazy to think of anything and zoned out..it's like a habit..a good one! my trick is that i imagine as if i really do know this person and act as if i am talking to a good friend with the same type of matter of factness, it's funny how they mirror me soo closely automaticly.some may say it's sleazy or i am lying to her..who cares? do what works i say. When we're both having an insanly good time, i doubt anyone would notice or care otherwise...

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
