It is bad when a 32 year old male who is a rich, trust fund adult child chooses exclusivity with a woman pushing 50, even an attractive woman pushing 50. There's a good case even against recreational use only as it isn't the best use of time for a wealthy, trust fund adult child.

I think it being Scottie Pippen's ex is a factor. Jordan already is a grandfather from his daughter (Marcus' younger sister). He won't be a grandpa through Marcus and perpetuate the Jordan last name if neither of his sons have children. Marcus' older brother Jeffrey is married but does not appear to have a kid.
