Meeting women in Manhattan

I've been chatting with a few women in Manhattan recently. I can take the train right in from Hartford, so that shouldn't be an issue. However, I was thinking drinks as a first date is a bit lame and I am not a big drinker anyway. Groupon has this deal for Ripley's believe it or not in Times Square for 25 bucks for 2 people.

Would that be a better option than just lame drinks? Plus, I've never been to the one in Manhattan. Retail is 50 bucks a ticket.

Bad idea. Hartford is way too far. If you are New Haven you might have a chance since there are express trains and it is no transfer. It will be extremely difficult to get NYC chicks all the way out to Hartford though. Just thinking long term... it's not worth the investment.

I would think the same, but the express gets to Manhattan in 42 mins. I spent the money to get professional photos done for me and all these ladies from Brooklyn and Manhattan started to message me. I have like 9 numbers. I just asked if they'd like to meet up in Manhattan, surprisingly they all said sure and 9 out of 20+ shot over their numbers and told me to text them time/place. I didn't even ask for the number yet.

Normally, I wouldn't go to Manhattan or Brooklyn, but maybe there is something there.

Tao is nice, but no Groupon for that. I was there years ago. Two drinks and two Sushi dishes was over 100 bucks. Do people really just meet strangers for drinks and then book a hotel or BNB to have sex? I thought that was just a movie thing. Not sure if I could pull that off.

AirBnB is where people can rent out their own homes/apts to strangers for the night or by the day. Never done that either.

Airbnb is a service where you can rent someone else's apartment/house. Like if someone is going on a vacation they can make their home available for rent in the period they're gone, they'll get paid and Airbnb will take a smaller fee for facilitating the deal.

My bad. I checked the MTA from Bridgeport to NYC, not Hartford to NYC. I am moving to Bridgeport on June 1st, so that cuts the time down in terms of the train.

Bridgeport is doable. Just be aware it will take most women at least 2-3 dates before she’s game to make the trek out to the burbs

My experience with Manhattan women is they don’t want to give guys the time of day if you live outside the area. I have lied numerous times, told some bishes I live in the city and my place is under going a renovation, so I’m staying at a friends.

I couldn't get the last b!tch to trek 15 minutes from me. She ghosted me, then reached out later on. It's one of the reasons why I've stayed out of New York City.

Two of them are from Stamford with family there. None of them have cars, so that is my big hesitation and the distance. Why would ladies reach out to someone outside a city with 11 million people is a bit puzzling to me.

It's a bit strange that attractive women are contacting me from the city and Brooklyn. Are they usually this aggressive? I mean, they all just sent me their numbers over the weekend and suggested we switch to text and arrange a day and time to meet in Manhattan. None have a car though, several are from the CT area. They waited between 1 - 3 days to message me back with an okay let's meet and then either a few hours later or the next day they messaged again with their numbers. When should I text? Any suggestions on where to meet? I still think the Ripleys Believe it or Not is a good idea. Then we can go for drinks if we hit it off. I am doing it this way as the Ripleys is a heck of a lot cheaper and faster than drinks in the city.
