I just recently started watching this show on HBO/Max... I missed it during its original run (2007-2015).
What a great show... I can't stop watching! An excellent depiction of life in the 60's (1960-1968) in Manhatten NY.
The men and their fedora hats and the smoking! I'm shocked by all the smoking, in virtually every scene with Betty Draper (for example) she is smoking.
I also cannot believe all the cheating that went on and the blatant simping! I mean at times the simping (for a woman's pu$$y) was cringeworthy and I felt embarrassed for those men...
Even Don Draper (DD), a successful womanizer and serial cheater, did his fair share of simping.
He did seem to love his beautiful wife though... but yet didn't think twice about cheating on her... relentlessly!
In one scene even DD's very married boss (who was screwing his own secretary Joan) was hitting on DD's wife... in the kitchen of their home while DD was in the next room!
Anyway I'm only on the first season... looking forward to what comes next but wondering what you guys thought/think about it especially those who lived or worked in Manhattan during that time period.
