I have some questions about USA lifestyle, because from what I've read here it looks very different from where I live.

I live in Mexico, and in my last year of highschool. Girls here never initiate any kind of flirting, hell they rarely even initiate a conversation, and of course never even talk about sex or make sexual jokes. Plus everyone just hangs around with their group of friends like ever since elementary or junior high, and hardly open to anyone new. Now don't get me wrong, I have my group of friends, but I mean come on, I've known them for years, I want to meet new people. Everyone here is a virgin, at least as far as everyone knows, maybe there's a few people that are not virgins, but it is not known, being a virgin here at this age is the normal thing.

Girls are afraid of doing any of that, I think because the society is so hard they label them as sluts even if the only thing they do is make out with you. Oh and dates, if you are dating here, it is expected to be exclusive, even if it's only the first date! If not they see you as a player or a cheater or whatever. It's not like USA that you can just date a different girl everyday, and not getting looked at weird, or people losing trust on you.

Clubs, same here, when you go to clubs, I hardly see girls there on their own, and if there is, they're way ugly like HB4 and down, the decent looking girls are always with company, and it's very weird for a girl to grind with you, probably only if it's your girlfriend. Again, because society is way to harsh about that stuff here.

By the way, just clarifying, I'm not an AFC, I'm confident, I consider myself good looking, and I work out regularly, girls say I'm hot. But that is just the lifestyle that goes around here, and yes it's pretty depressing reading about USA lifestyles and sounds much more fun. As I said earlier I am in my last year in high school, I'm 17, and I'm seriously considering moving to USA for college, I think I might get permission from my parents if I get a scholarship or something like that.

So if anyone can help me out with information about good universities, to have fun, I've been told some universities (I.E. MIT) don't have too much of a social life. I'm interested in stuff such as Mechanic Engineer or Computer Programming, any information is appreciated.

You need to get the hell out of that town at least, because from what you're saying its really hard to get laid. If you're thinking about US universities maybe you should check out the west coast.

Well I got friends and family over various states/cities in Mexico, and it's pretty much the same.

Why the west coast? Just curious.

I was considering somewhere in Texas, because my state shares a border with Texas, so it would be easy to visit family and friends during vacations.

Austin hands down, Houston (you need a car and everything is so damn far), San Antonio (you will have better luck getting laid in a convent), Dallas (talk about racism unless you a really fair skin mexican, more like a freking guero).

I think people would be stunned to learn about the large numbers of Christians (35% in Lebanon) that are present in many countries, or the fact that Arabic is not an ethnic group (it is a language that has many dialects).
