i have this disease. probably none of yallhave heard about it. its very rare and it effects the optic nerve, ie making you either blind or having very bad vision like me. glasses generally do not help. for me without glasses im 20/70 in my right eye and something like 20/80 in my left eye. and with glasses i go to 20/40 in my right and not much of a change in my left. there is no cure for this disease and i thought i would get the word out. the more people that know about it the better a chance for a cure.

thanks man, praying has worked so far. ive gotten better, glasses used to do NOTHING for me. so i have an optimistic outlook

Are there any exercises you can do to improve eye sight? Just curious.

before they knew what was wrong with me(most doctors have never heard of it, they talk about it like one day in all of eye doctor school, whatever theyare called) but before they thought maybe my eyes were just weak. so they had me doing different things. the one i remember is there was a ball that you would hang from a string, write letters on the ball and when you see the letter you hit it with a stick. sortof bunt it not whackit. and you did this everytime yousee the letter. this obviously didnt work for me but i guess it does for certain eye fvck ups cuz they had me doing it to try to help.

by William Horatio Bates

Ive been wanting to pick this up for quite some time. His theory sounds logical. Id love to see if it works.
