Okay, these past few days here in South East Asia with my parents we were once again struck with a typhoon storm that screwed up all our power lines and made us live without electricity and power for a few days. Made me realize that primitive conditions such as not relying on air conditioning and electricity for your contentment actually does help you in your contentment. These past few days after waking up, were some of the refreshed days I've experienced thus far while I was out here.
Ever see the movie Rocky and he's training in that log cabin and he's chopping woods? Maybe I'd like to live something like that someday and participate in an exhibition mma or boxing match and go rent a log cabin in Montana for a few months and train my ass Rocky style without no electricity or major luxurious comforts. We've got so many emasculated dudes running around these days, I think with this mindset combined with prayer and meditation and scriptural studies, we can have something going on here. Just a thought.
