Jason Giambi admits to steroids

Ok, if you haven't heard, Jason Giambi admitted to a Balco jury that he used steroids provided to him by Barry Bond's trainer.

Any thoughts?

No surprises, just disappointment. It's all in the commissioner's hands now. Hopefully he handles it correctly and bans this guy for at least a season and cracks down on testing.

I'm just happy Steinbrenner is now eating that 80 mil. The beginning of the downfall of the Evil Empire? Hopefully.

not likely. the current MLB policy is if someone gets caught for steroids 5 times they get suspended for a year.

That's probably true. I worked with college baseball players a couple years ago and about 1/2 to 3/4 of them used steroids.

Breaking news...Bonds just admitted to a grand jury that he "unknowingly" took steriods that his trainer provided him with.

Looks to me like an attempt to save face before all the accusations went his way.

You're an idiot. Bonds CHEATED. Now, I don't care if anybody takes steroids away from a sport, do what you want, but he cheated and screwed it up for the clean players, fans, everyone. You know, the one good thing about the baby-boomer generation dying off will be that baseball will probably go bankrupt.

It's an old, boring sport whose golden age passed decades ago.

That's WHY the juicing rules aren't enforced properly...because if they were all clean there'd be no home runs and it'd be boring as hell to watch.
