I know it's terribly difficult for alot of men out there.. There are plenty of examples everywhere, especailly on the internet. I used to read this forum back in the day, when I was still a teenager.. I'd come home from school get online and jump on my favorite online games like counter strike, and some of my fav forums such as this.. to read and enjoy the banter.. Back then it seemed there was alot more men who had similar mindsets and success in their life. There was always still haters, trolls and the like-- but It was a far different place than it is now..
Returning after over 15-16 years.. (i stopped reading around 2010) I can tell there's alot of frustration and just a lack of activity on here. Seems like theres a handful of guys who post the most and not many replies from a vast sea of forum goers, like it used to be.
Regardless I think it speaks to a larger issue-- I think the advent of social media/internet being so commonplace in our daily life has made alot of men feel bad about their situations/circumstances.
The best advice I got is get off the internet.. like I did in 2010. I stopped having a computer at my place-- just never bought one after I left my PC at my parents place when I moved out. Not having access to the internet except on a crappy fliphone made me more prone to going out more. I know for a fact from my coaching for several years that alot of the guys who feel they need a mentor/help with their inner or social game spent alot of time on the net. One of my most successful clients had a great career, making 6 figures, nice apartment, was super independant, can dress nice, etc. He just lacked social skills because how he learned to socialize was online on MMORPG games..
The internet is not a great example of the reality of life- It gives a very skewed and cynical perspective of the world, of women, of what other men are doing, etc. Comparison afterall is the killer of joy.. Put the phone /laptop screen down and go out there and develop some skills and confidence.
