Having a ' to do list' written down for the day, about your errands and stuff you got to do for the day is a good way to stay grounded and focused. Even if you're nothing jack sh1t that day, you BS and be productive and make stuff up like ' today - I'm going to meditate, journal, run and walk 2 miles, do a few burpees before bed, cook a high protein meal and read several pages in your novel' ....something in that manner. Like for me I have a journal in my laptop I report and write to several times a day - in the morning, evening or even the afternoon, I'd make logs and write down the time and date. I write the errands I gotta currently do and accomplish, then maybe write a thought about a particular subject or matter and maybe do a venting therapeutic session to for therapy. It's a good way to ground you and stay focus on your objectives.

Definitely. It's also prudent to NOT jot down goals like "Rob the racetrack at gunpoint this afternoon", and/or "Test out my rifle while doing so: Discover whether or not all that stuff online about decapitating someone, if the right area is struck, at point blank range" in your journal or wherever you're making these recordings

Explaining away such things at trial is likely to Racehorse Haynes-level proficiency, the likes of which most of us DON'T possess
