"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

So obviously, there's this girl. I think she is a very nice girl, and someone I possibly want to get to know better. She is in a lot of my classes, but there is this other guy who is also in a lot of her classes who she seems to have taken a liking to. She continually tells me this guy has a girlfriend, and I believe her but I just see her always around him, and I don't know what to think. Me and this girl spend a lot of time together too, so it isn't unbalanced at all. So in one of my classes where this girl and her 'guy friend' both are in, I sit to her left, and he sits to her right, and there is this very attractive girl to my left. I have begun talking more and more to this girl on my left, and I'm not sure the effect it is having on the girl I like, when she sees me talking to her. We still see each other a lot, but if I am indeed making her jealous, is this a good thing, or am I giving her the impression that I don't care as much about getting to know her anymore? I don't want to send the wrong signals. Any suggestions?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

sorry but I don't have time to read the thread. I have an interview with another person in a second

I use jealousy in my LTR not as a weapon but as a thing to let her know that I got more options then just her so she better stay in tip top shape for me. If she knows you have options, then she will keep to herself better.

Never try to make a girl jealous. DJing should be natural, not synthetic.

Yes in general making her jealous is a good idea in situations like these, especially as long as you don't make it obvious you're intentionally doing it. She's using the other guy to make you jealous. Why should you and the other guy vye for her attention, pumping up her ego?

You did the right thing by talking to the other girl. It should make your target girl snap back inline and chase you some. If it doesn't, then she wasn't serious anyway and plus you'll be getting to know the other girl in the process. She most likely knows you're interested in her already. You don't really want her to know she totally has your interest anyway.

Using competition/jealousy and let the girl chase after your validation is the strongest tactics you have in situations like these. what else do you have but the AFC route, or the vague, mythical "be a DJ/alpha male and she'll just think you're so wonderful"?
