Is being seen as a catch/relationship material by women a good thing or a bad thing?

Is being seen as a catch/relationship material and not the player type by various women a good thing or a bad thing and why in your opinions? (Catch as in they want you for themselves not as a blowoff/friendzone line)

Whenever I first meet a woman and they ask me "Soo. Lefty.. How many kids do you have?", I answer "One that I know of". Never been kicked to the curb by a woman for that statement per se

It's a good thing as long as you're not too readily available. If you give the vibe that you have provider potential, yet at the same time remain inexplicably out of reach, she'll want to become that one woman who can figure you out.

If you are seen as a catch and relationship material, that probably means you are successful in life. Why would that be a bad thing? Like PairPlus says, the girls that see me as a catch generally can hardly wait to have sex with me, so the proof is in the pudding. I don't come off as a "player" though, either.

The only way it would be bad is if she thinks you are boring and is using you. But I think that is usually pretty easy to see through.
