"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Is being friends with an HB9.5 torture?

I have a friend who is incredibly attractive. I've always had a crush on her because of her great looks as well as awesome personality. She's not like most girls. When she says something to me I know she's being honest. When she says she wants to hang out on Friday night, I know there will be no flake out. The problem is that she's in a LTR with this guy, and I feel that my game with her is never that strong. I think it's because I can be kind of intimidated by her looks. Anyway, does anyone else feel that this kind of friendship is torture? I mean, she's like eye candy, but not candy that I get to have.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Ah well, I wanted to be friends with my ex-one-itis but I just couldn't. I am over her but some feelings are still there - I believe you can't just tell yourself "she's ONLY a friend" and feel nothing (especially if she's a beauty) if you felt something for her in the past.

IF you get her to hook you up with equally attractive girlfriends of hers then by all means KEEP HER. Other girls will help you get her curvy, tasty body out of your mind :p

Yeah, it can be torture, but would you rather not have a friend -- a good looking one at that? Control your emotions, and focus those urges on other women. You don't want to ditch a friend -- you know, someone that's supposed to have your back through thick and thin -- just because your smaller head is having fits.

I think friendship is an underappreciated topic on this forum.

I think being friends with any girl you want to get physical with is torture. I guess it would be worse if you wanted her and she didn't even want to be friends.

Being friends with a 9.5 is great, because having a supermodel introduce you to a girl is like having Bill Gates recommend you for a job.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

And speaking from experience, if you treat a HB9.5 as "just a friend" and constantly use her to attract other women, she will eventually decide that she wants to bag you too, to prove to herself that she is just as attractive as the other women she sees you with ... :D

If you try to be friends with her in the hope of scoring with her at some point, that's a typical creepy "nice guy" act. But if you honestly want to be friends with her for friendship's sake then go for it.

As long as you have drawn that line, you can both be comfortable. If she senses you have ulterior motives, then she may (rightfully) exploit it and treat you like a lapdog, so be warned.

Be HONEST with yourself. Jariel's advice is spot on. Thing is though, a lot of guys fool themselves into thinking they don't have ulterior motives. Then the cycle of oneitis continues. CHOOSE not to have oneitis, and your problem will be solved whether you decide to be friends with her or not. It's the choice to control your emotions that will make the difference for you.

Yeah....it's torture mate. I speak from experience, back when I was a AFC, I had a 9.5 "friend". In the end I turned into a jeleous controll freak prick, coz I couldn't stand to see her with other guys. She was an AW, but it still got to me.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I have to agree with this too. Friends are your key to getting out more, increasing social networks and meeting women, developing social skills and confidence, and a whole lot more. Plus, when you have a good network of friends, you can do away with cold approaching and PUA techniques, and still meet women too.

she is the closest girl to you in proximity, so naturally you have a thing for her. you may think her personality etc are great and one of a kind, but in reality they are not. you may think that she can give you something no other girl can, but that's not true. until you date a girl, and get to know her as well as you've gotten to know your friend, you'll never know.

instead of messing up a perfectly good friendship, do what wiser heads have suggested and expand your social circle with this girl.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

considering the fact that the only reason you are friends with her in the first place, is because she is a HB 9.5, I think it's stupid to sit here and try to convince yourself being her friend is the way to go..

Take it from someone who has been down that line... You can't be friends with someone you want to ****... You can play friends, you can even give friendly advice, and do friendly things with each other... but you can't BE friends.

Because you are trying to be her friend, she is going to see you as a friend for the rest of your life, something you know you don't want.

The reason her LTR has her and you don't, is because he is honest to himself and you aren't..

Sometimes, it just wasn't ment to be.

I recently got togther with a girl that I was in a similar situtation with... Beautiful, "great personality  " all of that.... But one day I noticed I wasn't getting anywhere with it, so I told her that no disrespect, but I'm not your friend... I don't want to be friends, never did, you know what I want from you.

Now, she eventually came back, but I was fuller over her.. It hurts, because I did enjoy her company (which was the problem in the first place, you aren't supposed to enjoy her company, you are supposed to enjoy doing **** with her, not just HER) but it was best most efficent thing I ever did.

Cardinal rule #1

Don't ever become friends with a girl who you would slightly find interesting!!!

if your not dating her then you 2 shouldn't be close friends...you got your guy friends for that...if you need a chick as a friend go for a fat chick or a girl you would never f*ck
