What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Most definitely. I'm guessing but hoping that it will not be "The West vs Iran, Iraq (and other Muslim countries), Russia and China.

Japan would probably be on the Wests side, hopefully they got operational Gundams by now :D

If nukes get used we are all dead.

Sweet links fuzzx. Maybe I've seen a bit too many giant robot animes but I seriously believe that mobile suits are the future of war :whistle:

I like the newest one, Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The concept is very interesting, a heavily armed group sets out with the goal of ending all conflict, all wars. It would be very useful in todays world. It would end this stupid Iraq war.

With the way Japan is progressing with robotics I don't think that an actual, movable, combat ready mobile suit is very far off. I would die if the first one was codenamed RX-78 :crackup:

Depends. The only thing I could see causing a world war is fighting over dwindling energy supplies. I can't imagine anything else plunging the whole planet into a war. If we can find some alternate source of energy for cheap, I think a world war will not happen. But if we continue on the path of dwindling oil supplies with all the powerful nations taking a grab at what's left, WW III is very likely at some point.

I doubt we'll see a world war, but I suspect we'll see a lot of very ferocious local wars as more and more nations develop sophisticated military forces, potentially including nukes.
