"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hello DJ's!
I'm kinda new to the community so be nice!

Anyways, I am in a situation that can either make me or break me, and I would be really thankful if you guys can help me out here as soon as possible!

Scenario:
I got the number from the HB I like (using the DJ techniques :woo: ) and I gave her a call today. I suggested that we hang out during the Thanksgiving break, but her cousin from college came over so unfortunately, we can't do anything until next week. Here's the weird part:

She immediately responded with, "...We're JUST hanging out right?" (at this point I thought I said something wrong) and she said "Can I bring a friend?"

I was sort of hoping we hang out 1-on-1, but nonetheless this was an event that I had no control over ( or did I?). I've had some experience with taking a girl out and having flirty/fun conversations 1-on-1, but this seems either like a great opportunity to continue the use of C&F on both girls, ignore the girl i like a little bit, use neg-hits, or feel double the pressure.

Is it a bad sign that she invited a friend over? How could I use this situation as an advantage towards getting the girl I like to like me better and soon become my woman?

PS: I sounded like a total AFC, and I sincerely apologize for that.

THANKS FOR THE HELP!
-J

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

She feels uncomfortable with it being just the two of you.

Normally, I'd say "f*ck this", but I think since you have nothing to lose, you might as well kick it with her and her firned, and show her how awesome you are.

yeah ACDC, ur right. I should just have fun with it since i really do have nothing to lose only to gain.

is she uncomfortable or insecure because I came in too strong? i dont think i mentioned that i've known her for about 2 weeks now.

she told me to invite a friend if i want to, but nah~ =) why not just fly solo and go out with a bang.

i will post up how things went after the whole fiasco!

til then gents.

i was thinking the same thing...

Next time if she ASKS you can she bring a friend, and you dont want her to...SAY NO! That simple. If she blows you off after that, her loss.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I would've played it off (although, depends on your style).

Kinda like this:

Girl: "We're just hangin' out right? Can I bring a friend over"
ME: "Whoa, whoa...whoa there, 3some already?! She'd better be hot AND have a nice azz...y'know what i'm talkin' about -- I'm pretty picky" *nudge* *nudge*

(ONLY if you know her to have a sense of humor...)

Display a more higher value and be the man both chix would wanna be with -- you can do what the other posters have said.

SevenOne9, and/or anyone else reading this!

how exactly do you display higher value? It's being a challenge and what not, but I still have trouble understanding that concept.

***AFC QUESTION ALERT***
Can you tell me some really effective ways to "show higher value"?
