"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I've known this one girl for a long time now, well about half a year anyway. I've been using C&F and the likes on her since the very first day I met her, and for a VERY long time it seems as though she is always trying to get my attention etc. or like she wants me to chase her up...

But every time I GIVE her my attention, she talks to me normally and then after a while she'll start subtly flirting with me, then it escalates, and when it does, she'll start sending me mixed messages... None of it makes sense... I have heard of things like this but I really can't remember what it was...

She will start kind of like turning all of her serious flirting into a joke and more lighthearted even though she was blatantly staring me in the eye, touching me to make a point etc. about 2 minutes before... What do you reckon she is trying to do... I don't think she would be trying to raise my IL (Interest Level) or anything because I don't think she really knows anything like that...

Can anyone pick anything up from that? Cheers :) Please reply it would help me a lot I am really serious about this one (finally someone I am really serious with...)

Thanks again :)

I've been in this situation countless times before I found my solution.

Ask yourself this: Does it really matter? Why do you care?

Be a man, say what you want, do what you want and get what you want. If you want to go out with her then raise IL and ask her out. It shouldn't matter to you what she thinks, only what you think matters. If she rejects you next her.

Thanks Plec, that's very useful to me :)

PS: What usually happens to you after this sort of thing?

Either she says yes and we go into a relationship or she says no and I give her a freeze-out untill she begins to whine for my attention and I begin the game again. If the freeze-out doesn't work I next her.
