DO IT WELL AND WORK HARD! so many young guys these days get a job and don't even do the best they can do at it. They don't work hard, they're lazy, they try to cheat at it, they don't appreciate it.

whatever job you have, walmart, mcdonalds, computer job it don't matter, DO IT WELL AND WORK HARD!

Young people don't appreciate jobs they think they will always be there. When you are without a job you will realize that you are lucky to have work and should appreciate it. I have been out of a job for several months, I applied to countless places and no luck. When you don't have a job and you can't find one this is when you truly appreciate work. It just pisses me off that these punks who don't appreciate their work have a job while myself, a hard worker, can't get a freaking job.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

well after reading a few lines of your post, it was clear to me that you group people.

"young people" is as good as "black people" or "women"
if i said "black people" are lazy and don't work hard, i'd be crucified.

young people are always grouped, and as a young guy, who works hard, i would like an apology.

i suggest you change your attitude, and maybe you'll get a job.

I'm a young guy, who works hard, and have been since I was 15. But I am not offended, because i do think that the steriotype is right. For every two people that work hard, I can find 5 that don't GIVE A FLYING FVCK. Unfortionetly THEY LEARN FROM THEIR PERENTS AND THEIR PEERS that they can get away with it. As a young apprentice, I worked for a balzz busting AZZHOLE, but I don't regret it, because i realized haw much I could do, and haw far I can go. And I'll always apreciate what he did for me, even tho I left on bad terms:( , Lot of guys I know, DON'T EVEN GIVE A FVCK, in school or work (as if everything they want is just gona drop from the sky on their lap).

I didn't stereotype anyone, I was talking from my own personal experience. Im a young guy, I worked along lots of young people my age, I can easily tell you I was the hardest working of all of them. I saw their tactics, talking in the back wasting time, taking longer breaks, just plain walking around doing nothing. What I say is from personal experience not some stereotype I read somewhere.

Now someone might come and say 'but you ain't even working in a mega company for big bucks,' like i said that is no excuse. It makes it even worse since that was the first job for i bet everyone there. Whether it be a grocery store, walmart, whatever place it is, you should try your best and earn your paycheck.

No offense, but you can't get a job at McDonalds or WalMart?

I can't get a job anywhere. I moved to a new state and my last job was my first job in the previous state I lived in, so this has to do with it. Nobody wants to hire a new guy in town with only 1 job for experience and that job was out of state :(

First off that's not true at all. I moved to Vegas having worked only one job, lifeguarding, and I got a job at best buy as soon as I got here.

If you're really having that much trouble finding work you should think about getting some training, bartending training, a sheriffs card (shows honesty and cash handling ability), basic mechanical, something. If you have training and you can interview well you can get a job no problem.

Also isn't there a local paper where you are with a Jobs section? I'm pretty sure just about every metropolitan area has one so al one needs to do is open it up, highlight jobs you could do or are interested in and pick up a phone or type an email.

I was out of work for exactly one month, the longest time I've ever been unemployed, now I have more work then I can handle.

When I was in highschool, I was in a work program. When the class first started I didn't have a job. They made me turn in 4 applications a day until I got a job. I had a job on the 3rd day.

You're probably not trying as hard as you could. Turn in 4 applications every single day and see what happens.

Some people can't.

I worked at a McCrappies for nearly three years. When I quit (right before I finished high school), I didn't feel like giving a reason. The store manager at the time made up a reason "tired of working with meat." That's true, I'm a vegetarian and I just plain hated every single minute there. But if that was the whole story I'd have probably stayed there. Why I quit was a lot more involved than that, just that it wasn't my previous employer's business to know.

Once I applied to Wal-Mart and I was literally told that they didn't want "my type of person." Maybe I didn't lie on the personality test enough. Ah well, I hate Fag-mart, and I never shop there.

Unfortunately, I just passed my two-year anniversary of unemployment. It's weird because at my last job, I tried to do a decent job (despite the fact I hated every single minute of it and I think fast-food is evil).

I'm fearing that I may need to see an employment counselor who can help me with job placement. I'd even pay him my first paycheck for his services.

A computer type job wouldn't be too bad, but they don't even want to talk to you if you have no job experience (then where the fvck are you supposed to get that first job HMM???). It doesn't seem to matter that I just know things about computers (personal experience/classes).

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Abbot,

Why not sign up with a few temp agencies - the pay is usually decent, and you get a chance to pick up some office skills.

Yeah,

If you don't have a skin condition and not totally clueless MacDonald's have you down as overqualified.

Joe The Homo., maybe you can't get a job because you come across as so angry, rather than anything to do with your work ethic.

I don't know why you are so angry, but maybe this is something you could ask yourself honestly. You may suprise yourself and end up a lot happier to boot.
