"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

the matrix, the matrix, how ever we define the matrix... its all in your head. there are dominant forces in the world that wield mass influence on all societies. there is no wild west sense of freedom anymore. this is because people have chosen to take the path of least resistance, and let the conglomerations cater to their every need. do you not have land to grow your own food? this is because those that wield influence on society have given you a path, to rent an apartment and go buy mass produced merchandise at their stores. and every day you rent property you line their pockets and then you work to keep doing it, too.
economic polarization is a frightening truth. and look at it this way: as our energy sources dwindle, the rich will have all it takes to survive in any fashion they desire. and then there will be people, reduced to plebs with no life to know except to work for a company that produces assets that the rich will use to reinforce a cycle of poverty. because everybody's gotta eat.

but if you grow your own food...

you live as you choose.
Awesome post. To add to that... it was the founding fathers who stated that farmers are the most free and independent.

Those who labor in the earth [farmers] are the chosen people of God, if ever he had a chosen people, whose breasts he has made his peculiar deposit for substantial and genuine virtue. It is the focus in which he keeps alive that sacred fire, which otherwise might escape from the face of the earth. Corruption of morals in the mass of cultivators is a phenomenon of which no age nor nation has furnished an example. It is the mark set on those, who not looking up to heaven, to their own soil and industry, as does the husbandman, for their subsistence, depend for it on the casualties and caprice of customers. Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition.

-Thomas Jefferson
As long as you depend on other people (like customers), you will never know true freedom.

edit: hmmm, I just noticed... why did ~attraction~ get banned?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Probably something to do with fvck the law go steal some sh1t. Also the whole "untouchable" in his own reality, makes me think he's not all there.

Then there's this:
here are those who will always be in the matrix world. What happens to you here doesn’t matter because no one is alive here. Since they are not alive, there lives are meaningless. For the past week, at times I’ve felt alone and surrounded by zombies. Most people are asleep and they will never wake up. They may as well be robots. I can SENSE their non-existence, it's almost like they're not there...
I hope he doesn't go zombie hunter on us.

hehe, I first suspected it was the stealing comment, but I felt it was more out of frustration then really having an intent to harm people. He's definitely savable so I wish he wasn't banned.
