She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

If he had tried to drive away, even if he had been sober, theyd of busted him. Dragged him ftom the car, put him in handcuffs and hauled him off to jail. He'd probably get beaten in the process and then have to spend thousands in attorney fees to get off.
