"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

As I posted in my last post...i've been seeing my ex driving around my area and I saw her car driving past my street twice in 2 weeks time. She knows no one around the area. I figured she has been prabably thinking of me.

She dumped me 1.5 yr ago. So I tried a little trick that maybe backfired or worse, just made me feel like an AFC. I texed her today, heres what I said,

"Ok, u got me, congratulations.

Thought maybe she would text back, "for what" then I would say, "because I was thinking of you". Well, no back text yet. So, I just don't understand how a past girlfriend drives around near your home but doesn't want to talk to you. She must be thking of me, I would think? Right?!

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Maybe she's met someone in the past 1.5 years who lives in your area, or an old friend of hers now lives near you.

I doubt that...but she is married now to a real loser that she left him went to me and went back to him. They have a kid together, she takes care of them.

But im just confused as to why the drive bys and not at least replying somthing to me. I followed her once and she just disappeared that fast. I also got a vm with her saying somthing to someone else in the background, reconized her voice. Just makes no sence at all.

Something backfires when it's already on some workable level. This didn't backfire.

She read that text, watched a fruit fly fly by, and she farted. That's what happened.

Indifference, dude, indifference.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Look, i KNOW WHAT U MEAN...indifference ..basicly she could give a sh***T! Well, I've not been in this situation before, do you think that I ever thought that I would a girl, fall in love or lust whatever you wanta call it, get dumped and take 2 fk***g yrs to get over!? if i would have thought that was gonna happen I would have ran for the hills as soon as I met her.

I did move or thought I did, then I began seeing her car driving around my house and got the mysterious call, then it just set me back thats all.

So I guess all of the hundrens or whatever amount of members on Sosuave this has never happened too, right? I know about moving on and im trying!

You should have texted her this: "B!TCH why are you driving around my place and calling my #?"

Forget that stupid subliminal game you were trying to play.

I struggle to remember the last name of my ex from 2 years ago let alone have her number on my phone. What's wrong with you?

What do you think Eli would think if you found out that Tom Brady texted Eli Manning, "Ok, u got me, congratulations." in reference to the Giants destroying the Patriots perfect season in the super bowl in 2009?

The ONEitis is strong in this one.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Sorry but you must not have much else going on if you are still letting your ex affect you after such a long time.

The way to forget about her is to get out there and meet new women. Focus on that and when you find a good one I guarantee any lingering thoughts about the ex will vanish.

She's not thinking of you Mav. Not even a bit. If she was, she would respond. It was all coincidence and meanwhile you are living in a dream world.

Pull your head out of the sand and get moving forward.

Every single time you think about her nip it in the bud. She doesn't exist!

I read this post a couple of days ago and it disturbed me. I was wondering how to respond without being cruel while being helpful at the same time. It's almost impossible.

If you're really 49 and this is how you think, I need to ask if you've been in a coma for the last 30 years? This kind of AFC mindset is reserved for naive kids who are still wet behind the ears.

She dumped you 1.5 years ago yet doesn't respond to your grovelling text? Surprise!!!

She must be thinking about you because she happened to be in your neighborhood, right? Wrong!!!

You're grasping at straws to placate your fragile ego. I'd suggest you have more important things to focus on. Like how to be a mature man in your thinking. Your going backwards and time will not wait for you to catch up.

Cheers!

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Man, you made the first post about this chick nearly a year ago, where you had already chased her for 7 months after the break-up. Please let her go, for your own sanity. She is with this useless Badboy, but that is none of your business. She is immature, and has a kid. Why are you still thinking about her. You can do so much better. Get yourself an attractive, intelligent, high-class 30-something with as little baggage as possible.

passive-aggressive nonsense that doesn't serve your goals, unless your goal is to make a fool of yourself and get sucked back into a one-sided relationship where she has all the power
