The fundamental process in which one should go about meeting an objective is simple.
One needs an arsenal, weapons. With those weapons you can fight a war. Our mission is simple, to achieve our desires. At the gates of our desires stand an army, an opposing army, an opposing force.
That army is strong, stronger than us. It seems unfathomable at our degree of ability to battle such a force. We must use our brains; we must use techniques and weapons to defeat that army.
That weapon may be benching 250, or maybe knowledge of chords and scales. The opposing enemy knows very well of these weapons, but never predicted you to use them. In doing so, you surprise them and attack them mercilessly. You conquer them and achieve your desire.
Once you reign victorious and achieve the desire, you must journey onwards. On that journey, you master your weapon. You achieve usage without consciousness, it simply “is”.
You will look down upon those who carry weapons, when all you need now is your bare hands and your logic. Your journey and mastery has brought you to another army, and that army must be conquered as well.
The final army is death, and I am afraid I do not know how to conquer that one.
If this is to teach you anything at all, at the very least, let it teach you that your strength determines whether or not you win the battle, and how many armies to take on at a time.
Your strength is your perseverance, your persistence, your motivation and your ambition.
