My ex LTR gf/fiance still has 2 of my favorite tshirts and a few other items, including a $1200 puppy that I bought but we co-owned. Cute dog but it chewed the fvck out of everything. We had $3k worth of new furniture in the new house (her house) that we were going to be living in after we got married. I helped design the damn house. I simply told her to keep the shirts because I was too busy to swing by and to shoot me a check for a few hundred bucks a month until her half was paid off for the furniture she was keeping. I got the $9K ring back during the breakup talk in which I winked at her and said "take care" with a smile on my face even though I felt like throwing up. The ring is now back at the jewellers to be sold for much less.

When I went NC I meant NC. She messaged me for almost a year about the shirts, furniture money and other shyte. It was her leverage, or tool, to stay in contact. She never got more than one or two word replies back from me.

Leave the stuff there and block her damned number. If she hasn't reached out by now, she's gone bro.

Not a massive fan of no-contact in general, to be honest. Especially this Corey Wayne "get your ex back" business.

Seems like balling up into a little defensive shell, like assuming the fetal position. Leading to such sillyness as a man not feeling able enough to muster the autonomy to go collect his own property. Which, I believe, often further exasperates the sort of weak vibe leading to loss of interest in the first place.
