"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Very rarely when im talking with people(not necessarily friends) I can tell I have them so wrapped up in the convo, and i myself am really intersted too. Its like you get this warm feeling inside.

Recently I've been trying to review thoose conversations in my head and emulate the good things from them. Things I've gathered: (other than EC and BL) is to:
- say the person's name really enthusiasticly when greeting them
- never have a dull face/try to make it vibrant and stand out
-stand side by side with the person at an angle. Rather than direct facing.(I think this makes the person feel less defensive)

When in convo with someone I usually branch off of their previous statements, but it gets so monotone and 1 sided and it starts to feel like small talk, because i pretend to be interested. Alot of the time when Im at work I wish i could avoid speaking completely, and I usually do, and then they start saying im being too serious, so i have to pretend to wanna talk. Its like I hate talking alltogether, Im defintely more of a physical type of person.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

The art of conversation. When it comes to conversation, what i have found the most effective is to notice something about them or what they're doing that they find interesting and elaborate on it.

This is charm. For example, a gal at the gym that is always doing sit-ups - have never seen anyone do so many. Anyway, commented on it by saying "I tell you what, doing that many situps all the time, you probably have the most ripped abs in town" - i'd really like to see those abs by the way. She blushed and said 'nooo..i don't', but could tell it made her feel good. Afterall, we want to be complimented on things we put our time and energy to? We want to be noticed for our hard work.

Anyway, that convo led to other things and now we're chatting a bit every now and then.

Constructive criticism works too.

I make myself interesting by not caring about what I should say, or trying to make a strategy. I just let it happen as it does.
