"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hi All,

I went out clubbing with some work mates on the weekend for the first time. It was a small but totally-packed nightclub and I got on the dancefloor. I was freaking out inside as I've never been a really social person and was feeling quite out of place. After a while I started to get some movement going in the lower half but I couldn't bring myself to do anything much with my arms.

A couple of questions:

1) My arms were at my sides and I could feel a girls ass up against my hand. Does the fact that she didn't move away mean anything? The floor was pretty packed at the time.

2) At one stage I noticed a girl happened to be looking at me (I think she was looking at me anyway). Should I have gone up? If yes, what's the best way of asking for a dance?

3) Do you know of any free resources on the web for learning how to dance? Video's would be helpful.

Overall, even though I was freaked out and didn't make any moves I was still pleased with the half-ass effort I put in.

Thanks for reading and I'm looking forward to your tips and advice.

Thanks

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

never never land
i remember my first time in a club. i swore i would not dance but every one i was out with went on the dance floor, now the dance floor was not packed so people could see me if i tried to dance but i did it any way. i was terrified, moving my arms and legs randomly that looked more like a fit than dancing. but i had a smile on my face so it appeared i was enjoying my self.

now when i go out, i get complimented on my dancing all the time.

i studied, usher videos, breakdancing videos, omarion videos, crip walking videos. watched films like you got served, save the last dance, honey etc. (i mainly dance to hip hop rnb)

all of that will help but all you really got to do is listen out for the beat and follow it to a certain extent. then maybe bust a move now and then like a spin or bit of a crip walk.

once you can follow a beat and feel comfortable with your self you will be a good dancer.

also learn to relax and have fun, some times ill do really stupid dances for a laugh, like body popin to some old school hip hop or do the robot. people can see that im not trying to impress no one all i doing is having fun.

a bit long but hope it helps

If the girl is just sitting/standing there not dancing, say "clubbing's no fun being idle, come on let's dance!" or something way better than that. Also, just try and copy someone who is dancing already. But just copy until you learn more or less how to dance, then create your own style.
