How to get her back after huge dissin?

A friend of mine asked me this question. I gave him some possibilities but mainly i found out im not sure in such situation.
Situation shortly: together for 1,5 year, very toxic relatio, lots of dissin and fighting, of course lots of makin up. After one of breakups, they havent seen each other for 2 weeks for the first time [usually fights were not more than 2-3 days]. They decided to get back but had fight and broke up the next day. 2 days later she was seen walkin with hands with other guy.
He called her and dissed. Really dissed. She wrote him sms that she thought 3 days ago they could be back but now she sees it would be a loss of time.
They havent spoke ot eachtoher since week but her mom called him and told hi mthat he really hurt her.
I told him to send flowers to her job for start with some kind of little message.
Then send flowers thenext day to home without any.
On third day to show up at her job or home as suprise.
What do You guys think?

Actually, MightyMate has stated before that he's never read anything on this site.

He just reads the titles of threads and posts wierd comments. One thousand two hundred times. It's possible that he really is this clueless.

And yes, he's talking about himself here, since he describes his own LTR as one of those "constant daily screaming drama breakup" relationships.

there isn't a damn thing you can do about it. they will get back together because that's what THEY do. they enjoy this crazy making drama on some level so they will continue it. sure it looks nutz to those on the outside looking in but I assure you they will be back together in no time flat and they will rinse and repeat probably for YEARS.
