"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Well, I was thinking about te top DJ's at my school about 3 months ago, just trying to picture their qualities, one quality came to mind. Every single one of them seems to laugh at every little thing that life throws at them. Not tee hee hee laughter, but genuine laughter that resonates thrughout a room and is contagious. They are like this to every person they meet, male or female, young or old. Most girls with this quality also have an abundance of male suitors.

So, I thought to myself, how can I achieve this quality? You can't fake something like this(not that I didnt't try), it has to be genuine. How can it be genuine? Well, thats what I'm here to tell you. After about a week of faking it (and failing miserably), I woke up at 4 AM one morning purely by accident (though I am beggining to think it was fate). I couldnt go back to sleep, so I flipped the TV on. Lo and Behold, a childhood favorite of mine was playing, The Naked Gun. The movie literally has over 200 jokes packed into it's 90 minute timeframe, and I laughed at about 190 of them. Genuine laughter, and large laughs, simular to the laughs on the DJ's at my school. By the time the movie was over at 6 I had laughed myself silly.

The mood carried me into the schoolday, and that day I just felt the best. Everything was funny, I could talk to anyone and think that the smallest things were funny, and I genuinly from that point onward have truly become myself. All doubt is gone, all insecurities lost, and most of all, I can talk to any person young or old, male or female, ith a smile on my face and a laugh ready to go at a moments notice. My only regret is that I became this way 3/4 of the way into my senior year. After never doing anything with a girl for 3 and a half years, Ive made out with 2 girls in the last 2 months, and I've gotten alot more popular.

I dont really know what the point of this thread is, I just wanted to say what happenned to me and I hope it happens to everyone, because no matter how many women want you(or how hot they are), if you don't enjoy life, whats the point? I don't know if the change was destined to happen (I just matured or something) or whether I made it happen, but the change is genuine, and everyone, esecially the ladies, have noticed.

PS - its never too late in high school to start becoming someone. Though I do regret not being this way all 4 years of high school, 4 years of college should be a helluva lot of fun. Everything happens for a reason, and every single rejection and lonely moment in your life will help you improve over the long run. get involved in anything your vaguely interested in, and most of all

Laugh at the little things in life, and you will be a likable guy

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Laughing at everything is a defence mechanism.
