How To Be a Text Hole

So you check your phone and you have 5 Text messages. You're hoping it means 5 dates lined up with 5 women. But they are all from your same one guy friend and they go:

"Hby"
"Hey"
"Dude"
"What's pp?"
"up?"

If I get one more message like this I'm going to break something.

People who communicate like this (namely like a drunk, 12 year old girl) should go to jail. I'm not kidding. Even ISP's (who call this 5 messages) should be arrested. Certain people EXCLUSIVELY text crap like this.

You get way too bent out of shape about how people text. It's probably the same type of obsessive traits that enable you to remember birthdays.

When a guy sends you a one word text like this, he's checking to see if you're around your phone so he can talk to you about what he really wants to talk about. It's no reason to break something. If you get this wound up about texting, maybe you should get rid of your cellphone, or get a plan that doesn't include texting (if they even still have those).

We should remember never to text women 5 messages with one useless comment. You can bet they wish 5 messages were from 5 different guys.
