The only time I tied my shoes tight is during a basketball game. This is necessary to protect my ankles from spraining.

I just double-knot my shoes and never tie them again. They slip on and off just fine, and they're not loose when I'm wearing them.

I probably tie my shoes like, twice a year. When it comes time to do it, sometimes I have to sit there for a second and remember how it goes. LOL!
