This post is mostly for myself to arrange all my thoughts about SS.
I would like to begin with naming two different point of views (POV). The first POV is the conscious POV. And the second is the unconscious POV.
These two different POV work differently.
The first one, the conscious POV. It influence us daily about how we think and what we like. It tells us that we need this and that and all that logical ****. It controls our behavior.
The second one, the uncounscious POV. It control emotions, and how we feel. It also controls the first POV. Let me give you an example:
Have you ever had that sense of unbelivable attraction when you have met a girl for the first time. Like there was something special about her that you really couldn't point your finger at. It was just there. Like she was touched by magic or something. Even though she wasn't the most stunning girl you have seen you would still have chosen her over someone else.
What do you want:
First POV want a girl who looks stunning*
The second POV feel attraction when this happen. It tells first POV that she is good-looking.
First POV adapt behavior after what the second POV tells.
*Stunning is only an example
What happened:
First POV want a girl who looks stunning
Second POV felt attraction in SOME OTHER WAY. It tells first POV that she is stunning. even though she isn't.
First POV adapt behavior after what the second POV tells.
I think that this is why SS work. It bypasses the standard way of things and create emotions without any requirements. good looks, money or popularity is only requirements for the unconscious POV to feel something.
