"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Say you have met a guy twice randomly, you both have connections within the music industry so you exchange numbers. If his girlfriend breaks up with him, jumps ship and ends up naked in your bed, are you breaching "bros before hoes"? Where do you draw the line?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

If you only met him twice then he's not so close or old a friend yet.

But I guess If every guy took bros before hoes seriously it would give guys a little of the power back

Do you consider him your bro?
If yes then you breached the "bros before hoes" law.
If no then I think your okay.
(me personally, meeting a guy twice doesnt make him my bro, hes just another guy in this sh1t filled world)

The bro's before ho's argument is interesting. Because my number one Bro is well... me! I would never get mad at a friend for not going out with me and staying home to lay a girl. And on the same token if I wanted to lay a girl I would do so and tell my buddies to go on without me. For one of them to get really and honestly pissed at me for this would make me suspect him of being gay or something. Because why would you want to block your buddy from doing what he loves so much?! We waste most of our time checking out chicks and trying to hook up with girls, going out etc, etc. So how am I going to stand in his way when he finally nabs a nice one!? I would be happy for him! not trying to get in his way to go out with me and try to meet more girls? while leaving a perfectly good one alone for the night? It doesn't even make sense. So let me ask this.

When does bro's before ho's become applicable while not compromising the primary objective?

Hmm interesting point. I think I am talking about "bro's before hoes" in the sense of meeting a new friend, then somehow ending up with his ex-gf. I don't have a good sense of where the line is between acquaintance and "bro". When is it NOT acceptable to fvck one of his old prospects? After you have met him twice, three, five times?

Some of my homies tell me I break "bros before hoes", when really I just go with plates with mutual high IL. I guess I need guidance on when to say "No, don't do it, he is a homie" vs. "I barely know him, so I can smang his ex".

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I would guess it gets to the point of "Would you be okay with losing this guy as a friend, if you smash his ex?"

If yes, then he's probably not even really a friend, and definitely not a "bro". If you value his friendship and "bro-ness" over jumping in the sack with a single girl, then steer well clear.

OK, then the way I play this depends on how I met them and the relationship we have.

I would never bang the girl of one of my friends, i'm not that desperate to get laid it's more trouble than it's worth if you asked me period end of story. Lets just say that my best friends girl is crazy over me. I would not game her until I saw that she left him on her own and had been single for a couple years (at least one) with no involvement with him at all. I might hit on her then and I just may run it by him first. Even if he said no and I thought it was unfair I may just let him know i'm taking her out anyway provided he doesn't have children with her. If I meet two people at the same time then I can do whatever I see fit. It's basically her decision who she bangs not his or mine. I would never do anything on purpose to take anyone's woman away from them because basically it means that she is capable of doing that to me as well. And she is therefore not worth the premium of creating a conflict with a person you know or fighting for her.

I won't talk to any girl my boy is into.

That's just my rule, I can't respect any of my boys who would talk to my girl. A line you don't cross.

I agree with Sir Psycho -

BB4H is a good standard to live by, but I had noticed that it can be misused as a crutch for ego, when you're actually out on the town. IE: it can hold you back from actually MAKING the move.

BB4H is a group solidifying concept, while men are solitary creatures. So people, esp. new to game may have it work against them. ESPECIALLY if one of the "bros" isn't as skilled with women and he holds the group back. For me and my bros, when its time to close the deal with a girl, we let em do their thing.

I did a bit of groundwork on a girl once and we were all out in our larger circle and one of my less close friends went for her, admittidly he's a bit smoother than me and had her chatting most of the night. I couldn't really complain as I hadn't been agressive enough.

Two weeks later we were out and a 9 just plonked herself in front of me bought me a drink and was all over me! Anyway, I clocked early doors that she was a complete fruitcake. I slid away to the bar and like clock-work he was straight in there, "hey so how do you two know eachother?" Me and my actual mates looked over in stitches as his face slowly realised what he had just got into... :D

This guy seems to be my anti-bro!

Point is, only afford bro behaviour to the friends that would apply it back.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Canada, eh?
The problem isn't that someone is going after another man's woman, it's rather the way they go about it- playing dirty, ****blocking, spreading lies, going behind your back.....the insecurity in them. I get rid of people like that instantly, as they have revealed their true colors.
