Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

We are lab partners. Otherwise I'd just be happy to NC and get on with my life. This all happened on the cusp of my change in life to become a better man. I keep kicking myself about why I ignored my gut instinct and let my white knighthood cloud my judgement. I don't see nor want any future dealings with her. But I want to keep things on friendly terms at least until we part class in a few months.

My worry is word of mouth will get around. She's the emotional exaggerating type. I did nothing but stupidly flirt too much and came on too strong via text (more AFC sweetness than sexual). Thing is I have a plate in this class not to mention 3/4 are in my faculty (all girls). She is still treating me super nicely, kino and smiling etc so at least pity may save my butt.

I only plan on being my same self during class and if I bump into her (exchanging hellos). Besides that, it's no more messaging and straight in and out of class compared to when we use to turn up earlier and walk around after.

Any one had experience on keeping to good terms with rejecting HBs? I've basically cancelled out going after any others in this class in case it seems I'm just moving on to the next thing with 4 limbs and boobs. Just already another of our mutual friends in class has blocked me or disabled her facebook after I got in contact asking for help with what we learnt today (legitimately with no ulterior motive).

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Why do you care about staying on good terms with her.... I understand you don't want to get on her bad side but id expect more considering you're a "new man". You can't please everyone and the man understands that hes going to inadvertently piss some peeps off

Exactly.

The last thing you want to act is bvtt hurt.....unless of course you want to make sure she thinks sure an AFC. If anything, be happier, just don't give a fvck. Keep teasing her, ignore at the right times, get that hampster spinning. If she does end up asking out tell her you can't and then change the subject. Boom.

Edit: agreed with below. As in happy, I was referring to in general. Not happy to see her. Get the happy glow, like something's going on behind the scenes that you're totally content with, and the fact that she turned you down mattered absolutely nill.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I would also say to take it down a peg or two around her. Don't be overly happy to see her. Treat her like you would any other classmate. Also flirt with any other girls in your class. Just because you can.

Yeah normally thats the go for me but the fact remains I'm her lab partner and I still see her for another couple months 3 times a week in a class that involves A LOT of touching as part of its curriculum. The girls in my course have already formed a tight knit bond so word WILL get around if things go sour. Not to mention I'd rather finish the term on a good note and move on.

Cheers All. Yeah thats how I've been treating her and basically the same as all the girls in the class. No more special treatment. No more waiting together to walk off after class. It was just I noticed her being overly nicer and kino and one of her closer friends deleting me on facebook hence did not want this to have a flow on effect to all in the class and through my faculty. Girls here still have that type of 'highschool' mentality.
