"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I was reading a thread that touched upon the male needing to have a higher status than the women in order to assist in succeeding with closing the deal.

After careful consideration and many thoughts, the question came to mind, not am I good enough for her but, am I the best pick of her litter...

NOTE: I have a difficult time putting into words what is on my mind so bear with me.

Say a ratio of 2 men to 10 women are in the same room. What are the odds that both men will get lucky? Pretty good I'm assuming and almost 100% shot the men will get the pick of the litter. Reverse the scenario (10 men - 2 women) and the "alpha males" will prevail.

I'm thinking that possibly I don't feel inferior to women, it's then men I'm competing against to get the prize. I know my status is higher than most women. Women want to reproduce and I'm the one that plants the seed. I'm superior one on one. Now bring other males into the game, now that's the challange. It's not the women who are the challange. It's the males I'm competing with. Who's stronger - mind and body? Who will protect them and provide for their offspring?

Leave me with two HB's who have no other choice and what do you think will happen? We on this board and everywhere else are competing with each other.

Reminds me of a thread "Become Great" that made me really think.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yep.
Search for PlasticSurgeon's "the power of the approach" thread.

It becomes a discussion of who has the power; men or women.
But the real question is who has the power; a man who constantly improves and becomes greater everyday or everyone else (men and women)
