"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

After reading a few things, I have noticed some textbook AFC moves that I make. Keep in mind, I have identified them and am working on ways to eliminate them.

1) Tell my life story:
I know I shouldn't, but I need tips on how to avoid telling her everything. Is it better to be vague and keep her guessing, or are there certain subjects that you can't avoid but giving her all the info. I guess my main question is, could some one please elaborate on the subject of your life story.

2)I'm a total pushover, a hot girl could pretty much burn my house down and I would still think she's the greatest. But a problem I have is where to draw the line at Gallant vs. Doormat.

3)I don't drink. Period. Smoke takes me out, can't handle it. So you don't often see me in a bar. I don't drink for a few reasons. (Alcoholics in my family, drunk driver killed my aunt.) But unfortunately this limits my avenues for confidence building. Any tips for non bar going DJ's?

Probably more but I have yet to isolate them. Any help would be fantastic thanks.

It's not a whole LIFE STORY...it's more like, an interesting anecdote. Just show the girls that you are indeed a person also. Make it funny. Your story is supposed to release tension, not vent whatever you have pent up inside. Tell a story like you would if you were around your guy friends, but...yea, you should know how to pick and choose.

The important thing is not to try and impress. Trying to impress goes back to seeking approval. Avoid seeking approval at all costs!

Always leave her wanting more, and when talking to her ask open-ended questions while being funny and light. Nothing real deep or serious when first getting to know her.

If you really want a trade secret then do this:

Show alot of interest right away - enthusiasm, then drop it like a hot potatoe. Watch her then trying to get your approval! Guess who's in the driver's seat - you! Stay in the driver's seat.

1) make her tell her life story

2) think "if she was ugly, would i stand for this?"

if you wouldn't then either call her up on it and bust her for it (make fun of her or tell her that's what she's doing is wrong -> it'll make you look like you have balls and she won't be used to having a guy stand up to her) or politely excuse yourself saying you're going to find somebody a bit less rude

3) i don't drink, i don't smoke, i use these as hooks, girls respect a guy who doesn't abuse substances, u should go to less smokey bars then, or work cafes
