Recently aquired Sphinx Of Imagination by Hypnotica but not going into a trance or even falling asleep
What do I do? Consciously listen to it? Put it on and try to sleep or think of other things?
Help appreciated

play it on low levels AS YOU SLEEP.........not supposed to make you sleep.

Trance is hard to describe, it's different for everyone. It's easier for some people and harder for others, but it isn't going to sleep. You basically get out of the Sphinx what you expect. I thought it was brillaint, it was the first hypnosis tape I listened to. The problem is you are trying to hard. Just RELAX. Don't worry about anything else just focus on relaxing. Follow the words for awhile then just lay there and let them wash over you. Go with the flow, don't try and work it or take it anywhere.

How many times have you listened to it? The Sphinx is only meant to be listened to occasionally, not regularly or it loses its effect.
