Need input into landing HB9 who is one of the few girls who truly makes me bog myself when I see her.

She works at the clothing store next to work and I have chatted to her.

I have been overseas and today she sees me in the food court, smiles and says I haven't heard about your o/s trip yet and puts her hand on my forearm. Like a dumb arse I don't set a date for a coffee but say I'll drop into the store and tell her about it.

My gut tells me I'm a chance but my head is saying she'll have a boyfriend. Plus like an AFC, I've sat on my arse for about 3 months without asking her out. Any advice?

The fear you have in side of you is telling yourself that. Because you're afraid to ask her you're mind is automaticly making up exuses why it won't work.

Don't let that thought control your actions. Ask her out, don't be an AFC, always assume she's interested until she starts giving you shi.t.

If most men are beta, then the alpha is on top so why should he be afraid? She obviously shows some kind of interest, even if she does have a bf, maby he is a back up or maby she is unhappy with him or........... it goes on and on.

if you always assume that then you act like it. Even if you get shot down, its not a big deal

Just go into the store and talk to her a bit... if your are her brings up yor "trip" tell her the only way she will find out is if she joins you for cofee dinner......

you at least got some kind of hook. dont tell her everything.

when you meet for coffee or wutever, dont blab it to her then. even its a boring storying, make in interesting and dont give out details...she'll ask for them. keep the convo on her and she'll keep pressing for more cause she is curios.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I went in today and chatted to HB9 at her store for a short while, said I was busy and asked her to come for a coffee later. She flaked a little but said maybe in the New Year.

Even if nothing comes of it (I will follow up to make her accountable) I feel like I've grown some balls just by asking.
