"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

So im on the phone as im walking back after my last college class and this real cute girl by a mustang approaches me and my first thought is number close. So she explains she needs jumper cables, i walk her back to my car and check even though i knew there were none. Still managed to get her number. In hindsight i realized damn i should have gotten her a ride so i on the way home i pass by the car and she explains she has someone on their way so damn ok so slapped myself for not thinking of that sooner.

So any good ideas on how to comment on this situation when i talk to her? I was thinking "so is the jumper cables line always how you get a cute guy's number?"

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

RRRRRING
"Hello?"
"I've got the jumper cables attached to my nipples, baby...can you come over here and rev the engine a few times?"

No, seriously...you've got the number. Just call her, vibe a little, and set up the date.

Actually, I like the "Do you always use the, 'my car broke down' ploy to get the guy" line. I say use it.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

So i gave her a ring during my lunch break and we had a little small talk and after a minute she let me kno she was at work, said "Is this your number? Im at work, Ill call you when i get off okay?" So i said yea call me when u get off and that was that.

The inital conversation she was a bit thrown off because she doesnt recognize my number but after i asked her if she remeber my name and when she said "no i said this is the guy who should told u to get in the car so we could go buy us some jumper cables", at that point she giggled and i said a few more things to which she sounded more comfortable....so i guess this will be a good test of intrest level if she remebers to call after work. After all, if she is full time like me she will be tired after work and probly forget to call...i kno how this feels and is understabable. To this point, if she forgets how could i bust her balls about forgetting to call me?

hey jumper cables! i remember one of the first times i practiced my confidence.

i was taking my SATs and car needed a jumpstart when i was done( i forgot to turn off my lights -_-) so my friend and i were just sitting in my car and we rolled my car out of the parking spot into a paralell place so people could jump start me. i was going around asking people if they had jumper cables and my friend(total chump) is like hey look shes a hottie. so i decided, good chance! so i went up to her and asked for jumper cables lol.

anyways maybe that girl was trying to hit on you XD
