Hey guys just now I come home from a date with only a kiss and the girl is flying away tomorrow. And she said: "Had you been more direct from the start it would have worked with me". Now it's good advice, but it's something I KNEW ALL ALONG and it has been my problem FOREVER! I realize today that I've been running in circles for many years and I didn't get any closer to being a DJ.

Now the reason is: I can't get my **** together and learn the habits that would make me strong DJ... so are there any real-life things I can pick up that FORCE me to become like that? If I have people around me telling me to man up I know I do it. I just wuss out alone...

So is there any kind of boot-camp-thing I can do? And I don't mean the PUA bootcamps for 5000$ but activities that will ingrain in my mind that I MUST GO FOR WHAT I WANT. I need somebody to force me to learn.

P.S. and she also told me to cut my hair, dang

Nobody can really force you in this game. Even if you got someone to force you, the results would be temporary. It's got to be something you want for yourself.

What motivates me? Pain. Stories like yours when I blew a great oppotunity.

I'll give you one from a few years ago that still eats at me today.

I was in Vegas dancing with this hot blonde from Dallas. She asked me what floor I was staying on. Instead of taking the hint, I (stupidly) got her number and called her the next day. She lost interest. The "club high" (credit: Solomon) was gone.

But it's part of the game. When you miss some great opportunites, use that pain to motivate you to redeem yourself and not let it happen again.

The following time, I met this cute Asian chick. We talked at the bar. She was about to leave.

HB: I'll walk you back to your elevator.

Mike: <Elevator is a "hint.". Don't be stupid this time. Remember when you blew it with the Dallas one?>

Mike: I'm going relax for a while and watch some tv. You should come up."

HB: Ok. <Takes my hand.>

Mike and HB: <Full close upstairs.>

Ok so you weren't direct enough. Now get back out to there prove to yourself that you learned from your mistake.

Yeah thanks bro. I have to!

What I was worried though is that I've had many many of these moments, and everytime I swear that NEXT TIME I will do it right, but then I forget about it and do the same crap again.

I figure that some habits can only be learned through lots of repetition, and I'm doing it way too slow ;)
