"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yes.

We were together for 7 years. She promised everything in the book. I'm yours forever, I will never want to be apart, blah blah blah. Let's just say I am a smart guy, really smart in real life.... and I would have laid down my life and everything I own in a gamble that our relationship would NEVER end until we die of old age. If you think it won't happen to you, haha. I was in your shoes. You are not smarter than I am, or every other smart male that has lived on this planet. Women are -crazy- and emotional. You cannot trust them 100%, ever.

Conclusion : I will never, ever again buy the cow. Only have fun, keep them around and drink milk, but never buy the cow. You don't "own" the woman who you claimed. It's not really "your" territory. At any point in time, out of the blue, she can blindside you and want to break up and leave you.

Current Western dating society does not mix well with evolutionary biology. A man wants his wife to be his, for life, and raise his kids. Well, people divorce and break up all the time in 2012, and it goes in direct contrast to how we evolved. Our biology is accustomed to smaller groups, tribes, where your wife and your family is permanently -yours- and there is no "leaving" and moving somewhere else, or divorcing or breaking up like it's no big deal. You sacrifice everything for a woman you love, and she just breaks your heart and then you are expected to just suck it up, throw those wasted years, those wasted dollar bills, and your broken heart in the trash can and move on.

IMO, modern society and traditional love/marriage don't mix. So I will never, ever again buy the cow. Only drink the milk, have a lot of fun together, be happy, love her in my own little way, but never again falling in love for anyone.

NOW - I am not saying nobody should ever fall in love and get married. On the contrary... if I could go back and time to my teenager years and take the risk again, I would. Only, I'd do it with a different girl, but I would HAVE to try. However, if you get burned that 1st time, your heart never really heals from it, and that is where I am saying "no more falling in love" for me. I already tried, it failed, ok i'm done, now time to have fun and not take them seriously ever again. But if I had never tried? I would try once and hope it works.

I think that if you're the kind of person who can appreciate the simple things in life, like the sunrise, as an incredible thing, then I think you'd have to say that love is an incredible thing.

The problem is that it doesn't always end well. In fact, it usually doesn't, especially these days. Which means you have to appreciate it all the more while it's going well. Kind of like treasure each moment of your life, because you're going to run out of days sooner or later.
